Kurzweil VA1 Resurrected?

I posted earlier on the Kurzweil VA1. Well rumor on Sonic State's the gas station has it that the real reason the VA1 dissapeared was due to red tape around patents, which have now been lifted, and... VA1 development has been ressurected. Urban Legend or truth? Who knows, but my fingers are crossed. : )

  2. It's internals are now used inside the newly released PC3 controller, while not as exciting looking, the technology is now available for us as part of this new controller, should sound fantastic! :-)

  3. Alas, for as deep as the K and PC3 architectures are, those synths don't have nearly the immediacy of the knobby interface found on the VA1, the DSI synths, or other virtual analogs I owned (MS2000, Virus Classic, KS-4, etc). Was really looking forward to this but no dice.
