GMedia Flashes a Boob on Sonic State

Nice! Man I love Sonic State. In the latest issue of Keyboard Magazine there's a small bit asking why no one has come out with an Oberheim soft synth yet. Well.... Looks like this might be it. : ) Title link takes you to a clip on Sonic State where GMedia accidentally flashes the SOB pictured below. GMedia rules. I have their impOSCar and Oddity, both great and affordable soft synths.

  1. However, there's a few suggestions from people "in the know" that it's a wind up.

It's the sort of thing GMedia would do. We still don't know what GMedia have cooking...

  2. Hmm. Perhaps a better title to this post would have been, "GMedia Flashes a Boob on Sonic State." : )

  5. Well, you knew they were hiding something under their shirts... ; ) My guess is this will be revealed at the Musikmesse.

  6. If noone was supposed to see this, then why was it even installed on a computer wich is used for demos??? They didn't bring their machines they use for development to NAMM. I think this was a stunt pulled by them to get some exposure on the net. Seems like it worked...

  8. A manufacturer will occasionally demo somethign for a big customer that they won't make public yet. A big chain store needs some prior warning to figure out what they'll buy next quarter, what they should put in the catalog that goes to print next month but doesn't hit mailboxes for another 2-3 months, etc. So there's a good chance that it's real and just not public yet.
