  3. "vaporware until its released"

Lessee now...Audio Damage has an unimpeachable record for delivering the goods, and as developers Chris and Adam are near fanatical about keeping users ...er...in the loop regarding product development.

You, on the other hand, are anonymous, and a world-class Twatwaffle.

  4. :-D very nice anonymous!

Hey kaden, your eccentric genius shit is very cool. Nice work.

  5. Cheers for that, Inverse...

I just finished a mechanical drum sequencer as part of the book I'm writin' for O'Reilly Media. It's a physical sampler, more or less...whatever you put under the hammers gets hit and gets noisy. 7 'channels', 16 steps, programmable dynamics for each note. It actually sounds pretty good with the bodged together instruments 'loaded', but it's way more fun when you put assorted bits of scrapyard metal under the beaters.

It's pretty amazing what they let me get away with. I called it Hammerhead, kinda as a tribute to Bram.

    It looks like this:

  7. Hey, another anonymous here....I don't see why that bothers people.

I'd be more interested in audio damage tools if Chris weren't so arrogant. I don't appreciate his "fucktard" column, especially when a guy is skillfully *playing* fat lead sounds on a modular. Oh, but it's so easy to make fun of "retards". I guess Chris is so "PRO" that he can judge people like that. Grow up, Chris.

    And where's YOUR video?

Audio damage won't get zilch from me. I hope Chris realizes that his attitude turns customers away. I think he could benefit from being a bit more humble and not such a bully/drama queen....

  8. It appears Chris has got the message and has announced that will stop making fun of people.
Either it hit him in the wallet or that diagnosis from his shrink finally arrived in the mail.

  9. i second that, anonymous twatwaffle. i'd rather not give that guy any of my money because he acts like such a schmuck. arrogance should not be rewarded. there are plenty of plugins out there.

  11. I hope Chris got the message(s) loud and clear. Again, I don't think he realizes that he's doing a lot of damage to his business (pun intended). Or at least he's turning away A LOT of potential customers. Maybe he could talk about it on his blog so all of his Fans could see....

p.s. I didn't know I had any kids. I mean..... fire up the gear, lets go tweak some knobs, son!

  12. I stopped reading the analog indsutries blog a while because he was such a prick to various people. I was pleased to read here that he had decided to stop making fun of people, but after seeing his post on his site, it doesn't appear to be related to him losing business, and he still comes of as an arrogant prick. Although some of their plugins look interesting, I certainly couldn't give him any of my money.

  13. I believe Chris says it best here:

"Not that I have any moral qualms about it, mind you, in case you were confusing me with someone that gave a flying fuck about other people's feelings."

    Straight from the twatwaffle himself!

This says to me that if I have a problem in my studio with his plug-ins, he will give a "flying fuck" if I'm upset.

  14. I find it pretty hard to believe that someone who has a public blog and posts as much as he does doesn't care what other people think. Isn't the whole point of a public blog to read what other people think of what you post?

  15. I go to MusicThing.
They only paste up quality posts and lets the discussions run. Sometimes less is more.

  16. fwiw, Chris has helped me in plugin development on several occasions. Communicating with him via e-mail and forum, he never comes off as condescending like so many other devs do with noobs like me. Maybe I'm not a fucktard because im L33t. >;)

that said, I don't read analog industries, mainly because of the turbo fucktard comments.

Either way, I wouldn't say he's a "arrogant prick", but I can't disagree with anyone who's actually been offended by him.

    I don't think I made a point here.

    Oh well.

  17. You made a point: He's a snob.

    But you're still L33t.

  18. this is interesting.

I am really Utenzil, I generally like the analogindustries.com blog-- everyone's got a right to an opinion-- I've heard good things about audio damage plugs and I'm looking forward to what the Replicant plug might be able to do.
