That reminds me of that scene in high fidelity where the lady sells off her husbands record collection and he is torn as to whether he should snap up the records for nothing or force her to take more money.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it's just a scam to ensnare synth nerds. I can picture a dozen dateless wonders (like me) with their Roland t-shirts (like me) lined up in front of her house. Then, it turns out the "she" is a "he" and he just probably robs them at gunpoint.

Damn, are you guys really that dateless? In my day, musicians, producers, and engineers all got laid constantly BASED on the fact that they were in the music biz or even just because they could play an instrument.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you just need to leave your houses more. Trust me, there are still a ton of beautiful girls out there that go completely ga-ga over musicians and producers, I would probably find a different profession if it weren't the case. :p
