MULTIVOX FR-3 Rhythm Ace

via this auction. Note the auction lists this as the FR-3S. Anyone know about the S?

  1. About the keyword, Multivox has nothing to do with Korg, Univox sold Korg made gear. Multivox sold what are often clones of Roland products, or in this case presumably Acetone. Their gear was built by Hillwood.

  2. I love these old boxen. You can press in multiple buttons at the same time and get some crazy beats. I can get my Univox 12 into a very fast stagger pattern that spits out random bursts like machine gun fire.

  3. I love the looks on this one, it's amazing!
    I just bought one, going to pick it up in a few days..

    It's got low and hi outs, for the sounds,
    so you can put effects+process two seperate layers of it, it's gonna be fun!

  4. I've found the difference between FR-3 and the FR-3 (Serial S)

    the S model has the following jacks:
    Trig. Out
    Foot Sw.
    Sig. Out

    the non-S model has:
    Foot Sw.
    Low Out
    High Out
