It's the front panel for the new Minome, which fits in a standard quad electric box.
ReplyDeleteOr maybe the Hexori-OnOff, which also fits in a standard quad electric box, BTW.
mmmmetal....
ReplyDeleteHrm. If the small holes are 1/8th inch, then the larger must be about 3/8ths, which is just the right size for a 1/4" socket.
ReplyDeleteI think I still want 24 of these .. maybe 23 .. no, wait, definitely 24.
ReplyDeleteIt's the forthcoming Metasonix 'Hannibal Lecter' Rectum-muncher. No actual sound producing circuitry but can generate amazing ear-splitting screams from fiddly-fingered cretins who poke around and ask , '...and what does this knob do?'.
ReplyDeletejackson pollock's earlier, more restrained period.
ReplyDeletevery rare.
Playdoh Fun Factory - industrial version
ReplyDeleteEh. They're looking more like the size of a poti.
ReplyDeleteThat's the new plate reverb. The holes allow air to pass so it can reverb higher frequencies.
ReplyDeleteIt's a proto MOTM something, on sale now, ships in 2009, or maybe 2011, no wait, 2013, ah hell who knows...
ReplyDeleteFinally with this latest firmware version they've addressed complaints about it not being punchy enough.
ReplyDeleteToo little, too late, IMO.
My wife has one exactly like that in the kitchen drawer. Never really knew what she uses it for.
ReplyDeleteI'll ask her if she still needs it. If not, I'll put it on eBay and one of you can be the first one on the block.

ReplyDeleteMaybe it's a Swiss Cheese hole mold
ReplyDeleteI think its going to be more stuff to argue about on the nerd forums.
ReplyDeletecould be a spatzle maker ...my guess is it's a Paia back panel
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping it's a troll filter in the making.

ReplyDeletehmmmm....wait..i know that shape. Oh, wait...ah, yes...it's a CHEESE GRATER! right? am i right?
ReplyDeleteIt may not be a cheese grater at all .. its probably the who fucking factory. You like brie? I prefer muenster cheese.
ReplyDeleteIt's a 16 jack multiple. Finally! signal routing options. I want 347.5 of them.
ReplyDeletehe hates teh multiples .. he hates 'em I says!
ReplyDeleteI bet its a piece off a Starship! or at least an Airplane .. owned by a Jefferson.
ReplyDeleteNow that everything has been "revealed", what is this particular module? Thought it was going to be a sequencer at first with the 16 holes and all, but I do not see a sequencer on the MMM site. ???
ReplyDeleteThat's the standard face plat that all modules share. The graphics just cover up the holes if they are not being used. If you are a DIYer you can use the holes to your advantage by adding and or moving things around. Of course you don't need to. There is no sequencer in the current list of modules however this is a MIDI interface and of course CV if you want to use an external sequencer.
