Yep... this one officially beats dumpster diving for synths.
"In the shallows, we came across a bunch of pipefish. These guys are fun to play with. They seem to like divers so we hung out playing with them for a bit. As we started to make our way in, we ran across what looks to be a baby Fringehead or baby Sculpin. I am not quite sure so if anyone can make a proper ID, I would greatly appreciate it.
Overall, a GREAT dive!!!
Below are some highlights from the dive:" [link]
No mention of the Roland MSQ-700, but the shot is in the set. via Jeff.

Title: "Vintage Roland MSQ-700 Sequencer NOT synth NOT analog MOOG circuitbent L@@K!!"
ReplyDeleteDescription: 8-track sequencer. Found it in my friend Davy's locker, was kept in a clean smoke-free environment. Has some surface scratches (see picture next to fish) I don't know anything about this box, but I don't have any power adapters so i could not test it, therefore sold AS-IS.
ahaha - gotta love ebay :)
ReplyDeleteDoesn't look like it was down there for long. Maybe a case of serious writers block/frustration. I know I always end up tossing gear into the ocean when I am upset!
ReplyDeletethat. is. very. strange.
ReplyDeleteLooks like is was planted by the person who took the pic.
ReplyDeleteI am the guy who took the picture. The board was placed by someone at our Vets Park dive monument in Redondo Beach. It's located straight out from the rest rooms at the stairs in about 65 feet of water.

ReplyDeleteThank you lee...
ReplyDelete1. don't think it is any use to anyone now, so the location is not really needed
2. The question remains
WHY?
get the knob, its worth the dive.
ReplyDeleteA good drying off and it's good as new ;oD
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of gear destroying I saw some Dnb show and at the end someone lit a korg trinity on fire! Spraypaint and a lighter.
ReplyDeleteinteliko-
ReplyDeleteGood riddance.
