Simmons sds7 Pwnd again by the 909

YouTube via MADRRRRR.

"This time i'll show again how different the sds 7 reacts to changes in the accent of the 909. Later on i use the same pattern and scroll through some sds presets.

Very nice wet towel snares. That will slap around your ears.
Lovely hihat type of hiss. Raw claps en snares with nice noise
And that instant raw noise sound of Reese - Funk, Funk, Funk ... Or Lil Louis Video Clash type of sounds

Enjoy ...

( Next up is sampling the sds sounds with my sp1200 and beat the hell out of it .. but that's later ) "

Yamaha CS-15 Drone Sounds

via altemark on the Matrixsynth Forum.

"The CS-15 is a pretty flexible analog synthesizer, thanks to it having two of everything - except for the one LFO (which goes up to 1000 hz - fast!). The envelopes are fast and snappy, though not as powerful as the ones on the lesser model, the one-oscillator CS-10. But you can not demand much more from such a cheap and still well built synthesizer. Of course you are left wishing for some features - for example it is lacking in inter-oscillator modulation, no cross-mod, sync or the likes despite two oscillators." click here for the full post including mp3s on infosmash.

"modifications from the original specs:
* On/off switch added to back
* Custom face made by a member of the x0x forum
* Rear panel painted with durable black wrinkle paint

From the site:
The x0xb0x is not just another MIDI-controlled TB-303 clone. x0xb0x is a full reproduction of the original Roland synthesizer, with fully functional sequencer. The sequencer can be programmed just like the original 303 and can be used to control other synthesizers via any of its various output formats. 128 banks of track memory and 64 banks of pattern memory are stored in onboard EEPROM, no battery-backup is needed!

- MIDI in, out, and thru
- DIN Sync (in or out, selectable)
- CV and Gate (1/8" jacks)
- Audio: headphone, mix-in and line-level out (1/4" jacks)
- Knobs: Tuning, Cutoff, Resonance, Env Mod, Decay, Accent, Tempo, Volume
- Waveforms : Square, Saw
- Computer Controlled: Can save/edit stored patterns and tracks via USB
- 16 step sequencer
- Storage: 128 patterns, 16 tracks saved on an EPROM chip
- Random mode: fill a pattern bank with random notes
