  1. I really like that wave multiplier. Very simple and predictable. This may be a good year to get into the Doepfer/Plan B format.

  2. Is the wave multiplier like a Cyndustries Saw Animator, but at 1/3 the price?

  3. There's a lot more of a difference between the Cyndustries Sawtooth Animator module and the proposed Doepfer A137-2 than simply the price.

The Doepfer will tie-up four of your present system LFOs to create the sound of only five voices in unison... while the Cynthia unit is much fatter providing the sound of seven by including a cloud of six new internal LFOs... each with independent outputs and a unique internal frequency-to-voltage converter which tracks the input signal to make the effect consistent all the way up and down the keyboard, (instead of providing only a few good sweet spots).
The Cyndustries Sawtooth Animator does all of this with a single Depth Control and VC Input for them all... The planned Doepfer unit lacks this elegance requiring a clumsy combination of multiple knobs and inputs to control it.

When you factor these features together with a smaller footprint than the Doepfer, and far more power under the hood... it becomes readily apparent that the Cynthia Sawtooth Animator is worth every penny!

  4. ok, I kind of value my current LFOs and I'm not willing to give up more real estate for ADDITIONAL LFOs, so that sounds good to me.

    WHEN ARE YOU SHIPPING?

  5. Serious bad taste dissing a competitor.

  6. If you read the post above mine carefully, you'll see that my post was purely in self-defense of my own product and in no way "dissing a competitor".

For the record I think that Dieter is a very nice person,
and that he has many brilliant products. I think the new VC Keyboard and his bit crusher are excellent!

  7. None the less. Your comments put down the A137-2 (eg. "Tie Up", "Lacks this Elegance" and "Clumsy") and say yours' is better. Not the place for that especially in Dieter's NAMM thread and frozen here on Matrixsynth.
