Buying & transporting & playing Alesis ION
YouTube via Jexus.
More crazy Jexus videos here. There's an NSFW moment in this one.
"Here is the documentary of us traveling & buying & transporting an Alesis Ion. After that there's a demo of my Ion (my baby) where I show its features and play some neat tunes and arpeggiated madness as well as some classic stuff to present the real power and extract the fullest of the possibilities of this 'little beast'. Simply I take it onto a journey across variety of musical styles to showcase its capability to cover various sound areas."

at least it makes up for the last one ..
ReplyDeleteand im glad they finally put a toilet on the show..
Pretty amusing. "Where's the 'Jump' patch?"
ReplyDeleteI like the little dog music.
BTW - theres a little NSFW moment in there...
For someone so obsessed with "the Jump patch", you'd think he'd be able to play the chords correctly.
ReplyDeleteSTFU NEWB
ReplyDeleteAh, the lovely Ion. It was my first subtractive "analog" type synth, taught me everything I know about synthesis (along with a nice book). And lo and behold, now I have 6 more synths, including an Andromeda A6 and a modular. That Ion is responsible for all that. It sparked my interest in the synths its filters mimic. Its Jump patch is also awesome, shame the keyboard is one octave too short to play it properly. I make Jump patches on every synth I try out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a prat. Perhaps Eddie Van Halen will kick him in his grubby Euro-Nuts. For being a prat.
ReplyDeleteI can even play the entire keyboard solo. Which means I am the greatest keyboardist known to man.
ReplyDeleteCan I hang out with you?
ReplyDeleteThat was mildly amusing. I think some people missed the fact that this was making fun of synth demo videos... and perhaps the ion as well (not sure about that)
ReplyDeleteNEWB? Heh, I've forgotten more about synthesis than you will ever know.
ReplyDeleteI think Jared missed a joke somewhere along the way when watching the video....Pretty ironic actually. Heh.
ReplyDeleteconsidering how awful the patch was (and the ion can do better, we all know)
ReplyDeleteyou'd think huh ?
One of the best funny video about synth I ever wathed !!
ReplyDeleteThe end of the video is the best as usual ! ))
