DIY Analog Modular Synth
YouTube via bchris1776
"A short clip of my DIY Analog Modular Synthesizer . No Midi, Keyboard, knob twisting, overdubs or computer - It's playing on its own in real time. Module designs from MFOS, CGS, Electro-Music.com and wherever I could scrounge schematics. Sorry about the real poor digital camera vid and audio."

wow. Fantastic song. The looks are similar to the Digisound 80 modules. Are these from PCBs and kits or completely from scratch?

ReplyDeleteNo kits were used. About half the modules were made from bare PC Boards purchased from MFOS, CGS, and Electro-Music.com PCB runs. The rest are built on perfboard. Better pics and a description of the individual modules are at http://www.sdiy.org/rfeng
This is good music. I love the tones you're getting, really organic and pleasing.
