Note this one has been making the rounds and I'm not sure how much if any of this is confirmed.
There is no mention on the DSI site as of this post.
Update: image of the prototype via sequencer.de via lyndon in the comments:

This information shouldn't be released untill 29th september! Ah well....
ReplyDeleteOhhh! What does the red button do? :D
ReplyDeleteProbably starts the sequencer...but maybe something more fun?
Anyhow, aside from the font, I like the design of this thing. Reminds me of a Waldorf XT.
Pair this thing with the adrenalinn, you could have a nice hardware set up under $1000. They are going to make alot of money with this.
ReplyDeleteOoohh, another DSI box, yeah!
ReplyDeleteThese guys are on a roll. However, on the surface it doesn't look to be offering anything new as far as synth architecture.
Can't wait to see what the red button does.
Ha, looks like something fun
ReplyDeleteAnd I just ordered a Prophet, eheh
I'm curious to hear more about this Mopho thing
It looks great, great spec, but I'd love one with a keyboard even more!
ReplyDeletecould it be a "random" button as on the virus?
ReplyDeletethe Red Button is prolly just a "play a note" button, akin to the Peek function on the microQ. maybe it starts the sequencer though; that's be a bit cooler.
ReplyDeleteMaybe it's the button that transforms it into a jetpack.
Gets my vote for most clever synth name, ever.
ReplyDeleteperhaps the red button is meant to remind one of the red manual trigger button on the Arp 2600?
ReplyDeleteMan, I wish this, or a similar analog synth (i.e. with midi in), had cv out. I have some electrix gear with cv inputs and I'd like to play around with using cv as a controller before I commit to buying a modular synth.
ReplyDeleteThe Waldorf Pulse Plus does. It works well and it's a great sounding mono synth. Note the Pulse doesn't, just the Plus.
ReplyDeletehey for low cost CV outs built-in to a monosynth - get a Novation Bass station rack , midi goes in CV pitch (volt/oct) and CV gate go out ...one sold on eBay a couple of weeks ago for $204 - buy it nows are higher...can't go wrong with that unit, its small too
ReplyDeleteThis thing had better have FM on it's VCOs!
ReplyDeleteAs seen here:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.sequencer.de/blog/?p=4190
the prototype clearly shows the "red" button as a PLAY button.
yay! analog monosynth
ReplyDeleteyay! yellow
yay! dave smith instruments
here's my credit card. :D
I'll vbe buying one! Maybe it's the History Eraser Button?!
ReplyDeleteOn the prototype the "red" button only says play.
ReplyDeleteMoogulator posted an audio demo: http://www.trippler.net/files/p1/mopho2.mp3
