ReplyDeleteHi. It does gliss up in the playable range - I didn't demonstrate that, but vibrato works, so glissing must - I was more concerned with showing intonation and the potential for melodic playing (presumably by someone with better pitch than me) by moving smartly from note to note. :-)
A friend of my does a similar trick with cell phones with speakerphone functions. Its a lot noisier, a little less controllable, and has some interesting delay due to the cell relay.
