SUN RA - Live - Keyboard Solo (1980)

"Sun Ra gives cosmic performance, 1980."

Richard Lainhart - The Beautiful Sky

"The Beautiful Blue Sky" is a collection of new electronic landscapes for the Buchla 200e analog modular synthesizer and the Haken Audio Continuum Fingerboard controller. These extraordinary instruments form the centerpiece of the unique quadraphonic electronic music performance system I designed and played to create this music. The performances were culled from daily recording sessions conducted during the second half of 2007, starting from when I first began to explore this wonderful new instrument. All the pieces were performed and recorded in real time without edits or overdubs, then mixed down to stereo for this release."

Frostwave Resonator Mashup

YouTube via bigcitymusic

"This is the Frostwave Resonator, an MS-20 filter clone. We're using a Jomox Xbase999 drum machine as a sound source. The first clip is just a few simple filter sweeps to give you an idea of the musicality of this great filter. The second clip, we're using the Moog MF-101 as an envelope follower to the cutoff of both the low and high pass filters(which we multed). The third clip we use the Moog Voyager LFO and Sample & Hold outputs into the both filter cutoffs (Out of the VX-351). The fourth clip we use the Analogue Systems rs600 LFO as a modulation source. Mashup! bigcitymusic.com"

Yamaha TX816 Editor?

Here's an interesting one. I found this shot in this auction.

Anyone know what this is?

Update via Brandon:
"That is a large index card piece of mylar plastic that slides in & out of the MIDI rack. It is a reference guide for changing basic parameters of the TF-1 modules. The "Red" text is translucent which gives it an artificial glow. The TX802 has 2 smaller guides that slide out from the bottom of the module."

"2007 shot of my analog stuff during a tracking session. typically i treat the rack to the left as a sort of modular synthesizer. although there's plenty of MIDI control available here [minimoog, encore expressionist, doepfer converter], i mostly work with control voltages when using this equipment."
