Most drool worthy!
ReplyDeleteMake a desktop version for the masses, John!
ReplyDeleteI love the way this thing looks. But the few sound demos I got never really blew me away. Very digital sound and not in a good way.
ReplyDeleteA shame because I love the look.
The beast sounds fantastic now. All internals are at 96k.
ReplyDeleteMost of the OS is completely functional now and all there filters are there.
Soundwise, it's as warm and organic as what we'd come to expect from Creamware (now Sonic Core). The proof of course is in the pudding and I'm expecting there will be some full demos soon to put any doubts at rest. :)
I heard it as well, not too long ago with an older OS. It had that presence that many digital synths lack. It's bold.
ReplyDeleteI hope the final OS changes my mind on this thing.
ReplyDeleteBut for now, http://www.johnbowen.com/solaris.html
has some sound examples.
...unfortunately those are getting a bit long in the tooth at this point. After NAMM, I may pester John to let me do a few demos...I was getting some beautiful, evolving patches going yesterday.
ReplyDeleteTis' a thing of beauty! Where's the video clips?
