  1. Why not just put it in a wooden boat?

    It would be much more attractive and the price difference wouldn't be enough to justify keeping it in that rack.

  2. Functionality. Some studios are quite limited in terms of spare space. Vertical organization tends to be the preferred method of organization when space is limited.

    Though, It seems odd to put the oscillators at the top when signal flow is bottom->top. Putting oscillators below low pass gates, filters and mixers makes more sense.

  3. I'm not sure those are even for sale. They might just be there so if you are in the area you can go there and try it out before you throw down boat loads of cash to buy it.
