  2. soon they'll be selling the microkorg at Hot Topic and Macy's so everyone can have one as a fashion accessory. that's fine as it'll just make annoying people more visible... not that it isn't a capable little synth but jesus.. does everyone on the planet have to fucking pose w/one?

  3. I disagree. The world has room for more cuties with cute synths.

  4. The mK seems to have turned into an identity now. You're not a true scenster until you have a mK now.

  5. Dude brah I was rocken the mK before it was cool. So that like makes me even cooler right?

fuck that synth, was very glad to sell it. yeah its capable but every sound it makes sounds like it came from a microkorg, it very much has its own sound, but not in a good way.

at least the chick is semi-cute, maybe one day she'll grow up and buy a nice synth

  6. Hi, I'm the girl in the picture.

It's funny to read all this.

Well, I am a classical pianist with a degree in piano performance, I don't even make electronic music. Right now, I am doing a bachelors in Genetics. But it's funny how people judge you by a picture. And no, I don't buy at Hot Topic and no, I am not an emo.

Oh yeah, the MK! It's not mine. It's my husband's, since HE is an electronic music producer, not me. I took the picture for fun, as most of the pics on my flickr that are not for SG.

But I must thank you ALL for the oh-so-intelligent insights into my personality and/or lifestyle that you got from one picture :D

    Thanks!

PS: if you're interested, my husband and I own a netlabel, just starting but there's a nice Throbbing Gristle tribute and some Noise and Glitch music. ;)

  8. People dissin' on the MK and on people who use it because it's too popular.

That's the 31337 of the music right there, the fashion police of musical instruments.

    How lame...

  10. Lame is using stupid internet lingo and thinking anyone will take you serious. Lame is looking like an emo and then getting mad because someone assumes you are in fact an emo/scenester. Lame is taking hipster pics with synths you don't even use.

Now who is the "lolfag"? Grow up.

  11. Thanks James. I didn't realize my opinions had automated and started posting themselves all over the web. Keep up the good work, me.

    Love,
    James

  12. Do you want cheese with that whine?

I own the synth (and the girl), if you're frustrated at your sexual life (or lack thereof) try masturbation instead of acting like an envious douchebag on teh intrawebz.

  13. I'm sure the woman you "own" is a lovely lady and it looks like none of these comments were not really making fun of her character as a person but more so pointed at the popularity of a model synthesizer.

  14. I'm sure she'll be happy to know that you OWN her. Smart choice of words.

    Silly hipsters.

  15. She is my wife.

    Silly haters.
