"just going through some of the patches i created on the Neuron. going through quick, nothing fancy, but gives a good idea of one aspect that the Neuron excels in. Not a lot on the Neuron here, so figured it doesn't hurt to add another.

apologies for the distortions.. the Neuron can be a bit unpredictable!"

  1. Hmmm... don't think I've ever actually heard one before.

Sounds interesting... nice complex sounds, but also seems a bit hard to keep in control. Kind of all over the place.

  2. I had the plug in, sold it on eBay. It was very hard on the computer, the biggest G5 of the day.

Wish Hartmann could have stayed as a company. It would have been interesting to see the idea progress.

I still love my Waldorf Microwave XTs, that Axel Hartmann designed.

  3. Note he only designed the interface of the XT. The synth is definitely from the guys at Waldorf. Hartmann also designed the interface for the Moog Voyager and quite a bit more via Design Box, which you can find at this post.

  4. @Wi_ngo It *is* hard to keep in control. Absolutely unpredictable, plus a tiny stick movement can change the sound a LOT! I love mine because it is the most un-analog synthesizer I have. If you want analog, there are more than enough real or VAs to take care of it. This is a completely weird sound mangler.

  5. Hartmann also designed Blofeld
