  1. $135 for shipping? For a second rate FM synth? Don't get me wrong, I used to own a DX21, and 4 operator fm is not without its charms, but I'd value this synth at what they're charging for shipping. Sheeesh...

  2. Yes, but that shipping cost is by air to the US from Tokyo. It's a bit more reasonable in that context, don't you think?

(Also, it's not second-rate. It may only be a 4-op synth, but each operator can use one of 8 waveforms, which expands its tonal range enormously - for my money, even beyond that of a DX7. It's also velocity & aftertouch sensitive, and multitimbral. Definitely worth having, if you're paying $100.)

  3. Interesting, i've never heard of the V2 before. Is this just a DX11 with a different name?

  6. Yeah I've never heard of this either.

Just a guess, but perhaps the V2 was a short-lived re-naming of the DX-11 to serve as a cheaper option to the (also short-lived) V50?

  8. whoops ! I really should investigate my auction postings on this site!! May give me a better idea if Im inadvertently overpricing!! ..Anyway Im pretty sure its a DX11 ,looks exactly the same and I loaded in the DX11 factory presets without a problem . Maybe just the name given for the Japanese local market?
