"All-transistor synthesizer in absolut top, rarely used all original condition from 1975 with polyphonic oscillator CV-ins.

- The machine is in excellent condition and works perfect, reliable, non-drifting nor detuning, seemingly never serviced but I can exchange capacitors on your request.
- No scratches, dents, broken parts, missing pieces.
- Rare duophonic keyboard version. Not all S&P Synthacon has this feature!
- It has one of the silkiest sound I've ever heard from a synth.
- 3 Oscillator each with different waveforms.
- Polyphonic CV-ins for each oscillator. Seems to be a factory upgrade ! ! !
- External signal processing input.
- Multimode self-oscillating filter: low, band, high-pass.
- TOP modulation possibilities: each oscillator can modulate each-other and so too the 2nd. envelope. So very complex FM sounds can be created.
- Extremely versatile gear. Much MORE than say a Minimoog. I'd compare it to the EMS VCS-3, AKS from this aspect.
- 220/110V selectable.
- Seems all original.

- My Synthacon has something extra feature which I haven't seen on any other Synthacons yet according the photos. I will test what it does and will keep you informed. Please take a look at the left-hand side front panel!

"Previously improvised Numerology session played back in 3 voices fed to a MOTM 650 MIDI interface to 2 synthesizer dotcom oscillators and a Modcan VCDO into MOTM 440 filter (to the right of the white Modcan - kickass filter) and below that the dotcom State variable filter, 2 dotcom EG's and all that geeky stuff baby! Much use is made of the dotcom oscillators' soft sync in, with musical intervals driving the aforermentioned. This is an overdub for a bigger piece with loops and like, 'real' music."

"For our live setup, one of the keyboard players in my band plays my MIDI’d Prophet-5 along with an Alesis Ion. One really annoying detail of the Ion is that it’s really a bitch to change patches quickly on it (before you write and tell us how incompetent we are, try doing it in the roughly one second time period between a verse and a chorus, while continuing to play something with your other hand). You can either hit one of the tiny, poorly located, poorly labled up/down buttons, or you can take your chances with the inc/dec knob and hope you don’t overshoot it by turning it too far. Now, the humble Prophet-5 has eight BIG, LED-lit program select buttons right by the keyboard that you CAN’T miss- much better."

"Ripple Counter is a solar powered electronics sculpture that charges in the presence of light and turns on when it is dark. The ideal location for the installation of this piece is a sunny window. During the daylight hours, the circuit will be in a stand-by mode, charging the battery pack integrated in its design. When night falls, the circuitry activates and any sounds that make it through the glass will be visualized as a stream of trickling blue LEDs. It can be calibrated to function in a standard gallery exhibition space where it can charge off the standard incandescent lights and become activated as guests shadows pass over the surface.

Question on GMedia and Ohm Force

Anyone know which GMedia products if any were not done in conjunction with Ohm Force? I just added an Ohm Force label and want to remove it from any Gmedia products/posts they were not involved in to prevent any confusion.

An exclusive soundset for your Waldorf blofeld with a James Bond theme behind it. These patches are all original, NO FACTORY patches OR other USER patches here. All patch names were chosen from a number of characters past and present from the James Bond movies. Each patch reflects the characters role in the movie.

As for the sounds? Well... the sounds are incredible! A lot of edgy type material with lots of energy, thanks to the Wavetables and Overdrive curve section. All patches are "up to date" modern electronic sounds that are extremely useful, none of this cheesy stuff for sure!

The Moonraker soundset is especially great for Electro House/ Prog. House, Nu style Trance, Pop, Soulful/Funky Future Jack House and Hip Hop.
