Waldorf Q

via this auction

"It's got 16 voices (not "up to 16") and the classic Q synth engine: 3 oscillators/3 LFOs/2 filters per voice, ring mod/sync/FM/PWM, wavetables, comb and PPG filters, programmable arpeggiator and sequencer, sound morphing, drum maps, external audio inputs, a vocoder, a real modulation matrix, a great-feeling keyboard with pressure sensitivity, dozens of knobs and buttons...on and on. This remains one of the best synths ever made."

"One of the cool features of the Mellotron Mk. VI is the half-speed motor option. Many sounds slowed down to half speed take on an eerie, slightly surreal tone. This video gives an example of the Flute and 3 Violins tapes played at half speed through a Boss RE-5 reverb pedal. The moog Voyager patch is the factory Stag Radio patch with a few minor tweaks. Hope you like it."

Welson Syntex Synth demo part1

"Test drive of the Doepfer Dark Energy (right channel), MIDI sequenced by a Future Retro Revolution (left channel). Ambient dronespace and mixdown provided by Blacet/Metalbox/Wiard/Cynthia modular synthesizer system. The Dark Energy uses the Popcorn parameter setup described in the Doepfer manual (page 38): VCO and LFOs off, with the VCF set to self-resonate with a simple A/D envelope. Available light video shot with a Sanyo Xacti HD1010, down-sampled to 720p and edited with Final Cut. Produced by Doktor Bob at Rapid Eye Soundlabs during the great 2009 California Labor Day Staycation Bash. Copyright 2009 Robert B. Trelease."

Backtrack Sequencing and recording, and video shot were made in two hours (I note this always there is lacking of production, I did it in a quick way)

Gear:

Emu EMAX II HD: piano-guitar and lead sounds (I did sample them from a Roland D10).
Roland JP8000: Arpeggio bass (time synched via midi from Pro Tools).

Backtrack recorded in Pro Tools and Reason. Bassdrum and snare coming from a Roland D10.

The Cool Instruments Chromaticover

"The Chromaticover is a Chromatic MIDI Master Arranger Keyboard with accordion-style button keys, originally designed for the Yamaha keyboards Tyros-3, Tyros-2 and Tyros-1.

The Chromaticover is a super compact solution for every accordion player who would like to enjoy the modern technology of a synthesizer, an arranger keyboard, an organ or a digital piano.

Cover any piano keyboard musical instrument to convert it to a chromatic accordian with buttons (accordion style keys).

The Chromaticover features the design and finish of the Yamaha arranger keyboards family like Tyros and PSR models, but fits all other brands and types as well, like Casio, Ketron, Korg, Roland, Solton, Technics etc.

Previous attempts in the past from brands like Wersi, Cavagnolo, Hohner etc. were mostly based on a modification of an existing keyboard instrument, which voided any warranty. Even worse than that, the fysical modification of a product was a severe breach of the manufacturer's rights and have resulted in many product liability claims.

Enter the new Chromaticover. Through our know-how in applied MIDI technology, you can now simply "cover" your instrument and make it Chromatic just like that!"

Basically just some analog synthesizers, a drum machine and some echoes.

Mokira is an alias for Andreas Tilliander. Mokira has put out a few records for the past ten years on labels such as Raster Noton, Mille Plateaux, Type Records, iDEAL Recordings, Cubic Music and so on."

Serge like Synth Diy - Panel 1 test 1

YouTube via pickleinn
"The first two DIY modules built. These first two videos are/will be part of a series of test videos as the synth gets built. The first module contains: 2 x buchla 281 function generator clones, 1 x cgs slope detector, 1 x cgs pulse divider and boolean logic and 1 x cgs XOR. The second module is a 6 stage cgs programmer sequencer. the middle module is the power distribution and format converter (banana to 1/4" jack) with LED signal indicator.

This video is just some quick testing of some of the basic functions of just this panel.....its not meant to be musical, more to see if all of the functions work. The oscillator source is the function generators controlled by the adjacent modules."

Cwejman CTG-VC

"The CTG-VC provide control voltages that can be used for dynamic change of all voltage controlled parameters, such as; frequency, amplitude, pulse width, cutoff. The most common use is controlling filters cutoff frequency and a voltage controlled amplifiers amplitude in order to achieve dynamic timbre- and level-changes. All parameters such as attack time, attack hold time, decay time, sustain level, release time and output level are voltage controlled. The CTG-VC is a complex transient generator with a lot of features, such as; two different shapes for the attack, attack hold (A-HOLD) for more punchier sound than a standard attack, variable decay slope (D-SLOPE) from natural exponential to heavy logarithmic, attack-decay loop (A-D LOOP) and polarized level for outgoing transient signals which means that both outputs levels are controllable in both directions (positive and negative)."

Click on the image at the Cwejman site for full specs in PDF format.

Cwejman CRV-24

"The CRV-24 is a four band crossover with 24 dB/octave slope for all four bands. Crossover frequencies can be controlled manually and by attenuable CV signals.

The incomming signal INPUT is splitted in four bands; LP (low pass filter), MID1 (high/low pass), MID2 (high/low pass) and HP (high pass filter)."
