Malekko / Wiard Noisering -As An Oscillator

YouTube via bigcitymusic
"We just got in these super cool new modules from Malekko! Designed by Grant Richter of Wiard and built by Malekko Heavy Industry, the Noisering rocks! Use it as a clock, noise source, oscillator, cv source and more. This is a really fun module with lots of potential and tons of features packed in.

Here were using the Noisering as an oscillator. It doesn't track one volt per octave exactly but that doesn't really matter for this type of patch. We're using the Analogue Systems rs200 sequencer to control the "Ext Rate" input. The first sound is output one of the Noisering running into the Borg Filter in low-pass gate mode, triggered by the Analogue Systems rs60 EG module. The second sound is output number 2, and yes they are very different sounding outputs! More coming soon!"

Mellotron inside

YouTube via btpro. Audio comes it at 1:21.
"Mellotron is an ancient sampler. It records a sound in analog tape without using the computer technology.

Mellotron was used a lot in progressive rock.

One tape recorder supports each keyboard. This tape recorder is only for playback, and the recording is not possible.

There are three trucks in each tape, and each truck can play a sound recorded beforehand. A violin section, a solo flute, a solo cello are recorded in normal tape.

There is one motor in the main body bottom and turns the big pulley which there is in the main body right with a belt. A long capstan sticks to a pulley. This capstan always turns under tape when switched on.

A pressure pad and a rubber pinch roller are installed under the keyboard. When a key is pressed, a pinch roller holds the tape to a capstan, and tape begins to work.

A pressure pad pushes tape to the playback head at the same time, and a recorded sound is played.

The tape is over from a start in 7-8 seconds. Therefore, the sound stops suddenly on the way. A spring sticks to each tape, and the tape is rewound at the top position by about 0.5 seconds when release a key.

When you want to change a sound recorded in tape, you move the position of the head in right and left with a truck selector.

A famous performance :
King Crimson, Yes(Rick Wakeman), Herbie Hancock, Moody Blues"

MeanMopho

"The sounds in MeanMopho have been created with the Dave Smith Instruments Mopho. An analog monophonic synth armed with 2 oscillators, 2 sub oscillators, Curtis low pass filter, audio feedback circuitry and heaps of modulation options. A great sounding little desktop synth with the same exact 100% analog circuitry used in the Prophet '08. The Mopho may be small but the sounds which can be created with it are very powerful and very big.

5 Multi-sampled sounds in 24 bit, 44.1 Khz. Included are patches for the NN-XT and the Combinator.

MeanMopho can also be seen as a demo ReFill for Electric Avenue as the sounds included in MeanMopho originate from Electric Avenue (there are some Combinator patches unique to MeanMopho). MeanMopho is being released as a free ReFill so these sounds can be used royalty free according to the SB User License."

Ultra Distorted Hits 01
"Ultra Distorted Hits takes your sampler on a magical ride through some of the finest and most up to date ultra hits and sound fx to date. The ultra distorted series is a wet dream for producers who want a catalogue of fresh and new exciting audio sounds. Technosaurus Cyclodon Analog Step Sequencer

via this auction

"16-STEP PROGRAM The Cyclodon is a 16-step sequencer that is almost Zen-like in its stark simplicity. To begin with, it has two rows of eight continuously variable potentiometers, as well as an that LED indicates which row is being played. Four switches allow you to set the number of steps used in the sequence. The Run/ Stop button controls the sequencer playback when the unit is in Auto mode; in Manual mode it moves you through the sequence one step a time-perfect for tuning each step. The Clock switch puts the sequencer under the control of either the internal clock or an external signal. Under internal control, you can set the speed of the sequence using the Tempo knob.

The Cyclodon sends control voltage and gate signals through minijacks on the unit's right side. The panel also includes a Roland-style 5-pin DIN sync jack so that you can run the Cyclodon from a drum machine, rhythm box, or MIDI-Sync24 converter.

ADDITION AND DIVISION One interesting feature of the Cyclodon is the inclusion of four Step Number switches, marked +8, +4, +2, and +1. These switches allow you to create sequences of 1 to 16 steps, and you can change the number of steps while the sequencer is running. Want to do an additive sequencing piece in which you increase the number of steps in the sequence one at a time? With the Cyclodon, you can.

You can also control the number of steps that are played for each external pulse via the Clock Divider setting. It can be set to play whole notes (one sequencer step for every four external beats), half notes (one step for every two beats), quarter notes (one step per beat), eighth notes (two steps per beat), and 16th notes (four steps per beat)."
