"This song is a milestone in modern popmusic. Because of this song millions of kids decided to start writing and playing their own music. The simpleness of this tune inspired many young musicians. Most of them started bands and they played all over the world in small venues but they never achieved the same succes as THE CURE, because THE CURE invented this kind of music. THE CURE still play big venues all over the world and it all started in 1980 with songs like A FOREST !
I just play a simple instrumental version of A FOREST, using two synths and a loopstation.
