"This auction is for the ultra rare Evenfall Mini Modular!
The condition is very, very good / near-mint.
Many functions are packed into this slender 3U synthesizer. 2x VCO, 2x VCA, 2x LFO, 2x envelopes, 2x mults, lag processor, sample and hold, waveshaper, MIDI to CV converter and, of course, a fantastic filter.
Like with the Arp 2600 and Cwejman S1, the synthesizer has sensible normalized routings, interruptable via patch cables. Very convenient for workflow but still as flexible as a proper modular.
It comes with eight patch cables and the original Wiard style PSU."
Huh, i wonder who's selling that. Do they really go for that much now?
ReplyDeletewow ... 1700$ BIN and a 1k opening ... indeed way overpriced. it is one of two machines i'ld love to have, but this actual item should remain unsold.
ReplyDeleteQUOTE: This one is "factory-built" and not one of the few kit versions sold.
i didn't know about kit-versions back then. if i'ld knew ... my gawd ... my studio would look different now :'(
if evenfall are smart they would just re-open manufacturing these. with the current interest in (semi) modulars and DIY it should be a top-seller. i'll order 1 or more kits at this exact moment ( just mail me guys !!! )
Pretty lame comment about being overpriced.
ReplyDeletei'll refrase: i (as in ME) thinks it's way overpriced. new it was 700$ and now 1700 ... that's exessive in my book.
ReplyDeleteplease note i said nothing else then positive things about the machine itself. i personally would LOVE to have one. and if you have 1k or 1k7 ... go ahead and buy it. have a party!
but (too) high prices have been pissing me off for quite some time already ... as if you have to be rich to enjoy sounds. it's just as if this vintage scene is kept artificially highly priced, just like the cd-prices in the netherlands.
It's out off production for a while and i think most other modulars were half the price off todays prices. And it's a very rare item to.
ReplyDeleteman id pick a bunch up if they ever released the kits..
