  1. Cat hair and electronics don't mix.

  2. Turboskin, this is a myth. If one keeps a cover on the synth it's well protected..you did see the towel over the OB right?
I've had multiple cats in my house and my Roland D50 and Ensoniq VFX purchased new in the late 80's are still in pristine condition both physically and electronically.

Buy a keyboard cover and keep it covered when not in use to keep dust and hair including human, dog, cat, ferret, rabbit hair from destroying your synths.:)

  3. Of course I cover my gear, but mainly from dust.

It's not a myth that cat hair can and will get into anything uncovered, but who the hell wants to clean their studio of cat hair at all to begin with?

My wifes cat sheds tons around the house but the little fucker isn't allowed anywhere near my studio because I'd be cleaning it from the monitors, keyboard stands, desk, etc.
