Custom Moded Moog Prodigy test

Custom Moded Moog Prodigy test from K4d4w3r on Vimeo.

"So, this one recorded yesterday. A small test of custom moded Moog Prodigy analog synthesizer playing Kraftwerk cover. Note that background beat and bass were also created using this machine. All in all, the range of sounds that this little synth can now produce is quite enormous.
The list of mods:
1. Re-cased
2. PW & PWM for osc's
3. FM input for each osc independently.
4. Different ranges for LFO. From ultra low to audio range.
5. All waves for the OSC's and LFO are available independently.
6. Envelopes outs are available.
7. Drone mode, gate mode and AM input for VCA.
8. Internal 2 channel Midi2CV converter.
9. 2 inverters added.
10. 3 audio and 2 FM inputs for VCF.
11. Glide and filter tracking saved.
12. Independent release switches for Envelopes.

If i remember correctly that's all,but may be more.
All connections now on bananas.

Note this one is for sale now. So if anyone is interested email me at: k4d4w3r(at)mail.ru
I don't know the price so propositions are welcome :)"

Modular Synthesizer jam

" String sound: OB-12 in slow arpeggio mode
Bass sound 1: Sine VCO sequenced by Baby 10 sequencer and squared up by MFOS ringmod and filtered by MFOS 24dB/Oct LPF
Bass sound 2: Same sine VCO as Bass sound 1 but overdriven by MFOS VCA
Drums: Tr-606
Delay: Reel-to-reel taperecorder
Lead: Two MFOS VCO (saw waveforms) to the MFOS 12dB/Oct SVF in Lowpass mode (Highpass output inversed and fed back to the input) controlled by the MFOS dual AR generator in different modes.

Don't mind the sloppy "solo"."

"S-Tek - Robot Wars 1

Xbase Bassdrum goes through M-resonator and in the same time through the Analogue Solutions SY02 routed via the mackie mixer as extra channels.

The mackie mixer generated also the little plate reverb for the XBase HiHats and the Evolver mainline. The Evolver also added Delay and a bit feedback EFX for the mainline.

All Signals goes into the SSL 4000G Buscompressor for a niceful little compression.

Thanks for watching. May you're machines be with you!

Ensoniq EPSm Rackmount 13bit Sampler

YouTube via TheDaydreamSound
"The EPSm Rackmount is probably the most rare of all Enosniq samplers. It came standard with 8 ouputs a SCSI port and expanded memory. It was made in 1989, 1 year after the keyboard version. Of all Ensoniq's rackmount samplers I like the look of this one the best followed by the ASR 10.

On a side note this was Ensoniq's only 13bit sampler.

Eventhough the EPSm came with a SCSI port it will not recognize a Zip drive or most modern SCSI devices. Apparently SCSI was fairly new at the the time. However, it will work with some older Syquest drives.

Once again Thanks for Stopping By!

Not claiming to be a 303 clone or anything, but the arduino oscillator can do cool bass lines now it has a filter. glide is also in effect!
soon the synth will be controlled by encoders and the display, i have almost run out of inputs on the MEGA to attach pots to.
Next thing i will do is implement a velocity controlled accent."

the 16x4x3 is a our brand-new diy chase-light step sequencer... based on the mighty arduino and works like charm! the sounds are mainly samples except of decaying SD/HH which are being generated in the luvly microtonic drummachine..

BI-Polar Presets Test

YouTube via wonkythomas
"Mr. BugBrands fabulous "presets" design adapted for bi-polar voltages. A the moment its outputting about +/-5V which is a little too much for "note" seq'ing, I might swap the 50K pots for 10K (didn't have any 10Ks when I put it together) or I might just leave it because it does make a mighty fine modulator for things like the Wave Multiplers CV etc. Just needs abit of attenuation before it hits a VCO."

Modular Seq_Test

"Alot of my clock modules are controlled by Binary Numbers, so I've been looking at differant counters to build a flexiable divider module to control them, especially the BugBrand Presets module.

This one is built from a 4526 Proggramable 4 Bit Down counter. It has 4 outputs for 4 differant divisions & what makes it rather usefull for pattern generating is it has 4 switches which change the pulse trains at the outputs in differant ways.

In this video a random voltage is being used to reset the counter & I switch various patterns in & out. On the right a CGS Psycho LFO is being used to control the distorted 8008 sound. The LFO feeds a 2 Bit analogue to digital convertor & one of the bit outs controls a gate controlled switch, so, when the Psycho LFO outputs more than 5V a clock from the Binary Counter is tapped off into the trigger input of the drum module."

Pattern Dual I

"Binary Rate Multiplier. Clock goes in, switches set the number the pulse is multiplied by, funky shit comes out!
Just fiddling around breaking in new modules."

White Light

YouTube via bubagoo
" Footage from an installation called White Light that I did at RPI in february 2010.

For more info go to:
http://casperelectronics.com/finished...

White Light incorporates hand built audio electronics and a pulsing light display to create an interactive and immersive audio visual experience.

Each podium generates an audio drone as well as controlling the brightness of a single color in the light sphere. The three podiums control the three basic colors RED, BLUE and GREEN. Using all three podiums at once generates full spectrum color mixing.

The sound from the podium and the light are generated by the SAME electrical signal. The signal, which is two detuned square waves, is simply split and sent to the speaker and also to the light. There is no sound to light circuitry involved. They are both controlled by the same signal."
