"This is a very short, not enough information given, video of the Music From Outer Space company's Sound FX Synthesizer, of which I bought 2 x circuit boards to build synths from.
For some odd reason, I don't explain WHAT the synth is made up of, until the end. Go figure! HAhahahaha.
Anyhoo ... the sound fx potential from this guy, is huge. I'm majorly impressed and can't wait to get the 2nd one built. Once it's done as well I'll be able to get a better idea as whether to buy more of them or not. Already, barely playing with it for a few minutes - I am DAMN impressed and will more than likely, be ordering more - to set them up for 'patches' that I ilke, to be able to manipulate at will, whilst recording live improv. stuff. :)

This video is a basic overview of the Analogue Solutions Europa MIDI sequencer / drum computer [www.analoguesolutions.com].

In the video, we see how to construct a basic pattern (drum beat) using the internal sequencer. The Europa is connected to both an Ensoniq ASR-10 (drum sample source) as well as an AS TBX-303 (synth).

The video also demonstrates the live transpose, and mute features of the Europa while a sequence is running. Additionally, at the end of the video, the AS Oberkorn MK3 is plugged in and synced to the Europa's clock - the Oberkorn controls a sequence on a Sequential Circuits Pro One synth."

"The Simmons SDSV or SDS5 as it was also called needs no introduction to the Electronic drumming world.

The SDS-V was hailed as “the world's first fully electronic drum kit.” It was first heard on Spandau Ballet's 1981 hit, “Chant No. 1 (I Don't Need This Pressure On) and later on ABC's hit "Poison arrow". After that, it caught on with many 80s musicians and was featured by such bands as Duran Duran and Rush.

It consisted of the now famous Hexagon pads and a modular, rack mount brain. The standard kit came with five modules, kick, snare and three toms. Simmons modules are extremely rare but one which is fully populated is even more so!

This auction is for an original fully populated rack mount brain comprising of Kick, Snare and five tom modules! I also have the original pads (2 x Kick pads, 1 snare pad, 5 tom pads in white with black riot shield type playing surface ie hard with aluminium trim) which are NOT included in this auction, though I may list seperately in the future."

"Serial number: 269589. I have added two very useful modifications to this machine. Both adjust the BassDrum sound. One is a pitch knob, to tune the BassDrum. This knob can be turned off to return the BassDrum to it's exact stock pitch. The second is a sustain button. Depending on the setting of the Decay knob, this button can cause the BassDrum to sustain longer, or even self-oscillate and over drive.

By holding the sustain button, and twisting the pitch knob, the 808's BassDrum can be performed, a bit like a fretless bass."
