"Swedish electronic musician and pianist Palle Dahlstedt playing a concert grand, equipped with a Moog Piano Bar, four microphones and a Nord Modular G2. The sound from the grand is processed by the G2, and at the same time, the keys played determines all processing parameters through a dynamic vector-based mapping, following the same ideas as the instruments Dahlstedt developed for his duo pantoMorf (http://youtu.be/sVqP6P3t_8U [posted here]), all explained in this paper (PDF). Dahlstedt has also developed electronic percussion instruments following the same ideas (e.g., http://youtu.be/Dwe4xKJtl8s [posted here]). All three instruments were featured in this concert in Gothenburg, Sweden, of which more photage will follow shortly This is all part of Dahlstedt's research project Creative Performance, funded by the Swedish Research Council."

1939 Storytone Electric - World's First Practical Electic Piano?
via Piedemont Piano Company"This is an extremely rare and historically important instrument. The Storytone piano was built in 1939 in a joint venture between Story & Clark and RCA - the piano has normal strings and action but no soundboard - the sound is amplified by pickups and a speaker system making it the world's first practical electric piano. The sound is very beautiful considering its design during the infancy of amplified instruments. As you can see the design is striking - art deco at its most radical. In excellent condition. Height 36in. Serial number 175267."

Tarkovsky's 1972 Solaris Soundtrack Featuring Rare ANS Synthesizer
The soundtrack to Tarkovsky's Solaris is now available for download on Root Strata here. via Wikipedia:
"The ANS was used by Stanislav Kreichi, Alfred Schnittke, Edison Denisov, Sofia Gubaidulina and other Soviet composers. Edward Artemiev wrote many of his scores to the movies of Andrei Tarkovsky with the help of the ANS. Notably is Artemiev's score to Tarkovsky's Solaris in which the ANS was used to abstract, sci-fi effect.[1]"

This series of Hohner organs was introduced in 1983 and are easy to recognize because of their mixed style preset panels. There are two types of presets: Organ voices that can be layered in any combination using the big rectangular traditional organ switches. And synthesizer presets that can not be layered. These are chosen with the square buttons on the top panel. The square buttons on the small panel next to the lower keyboard are for rhytms (grey/white) and auto-accompaniment and bass."

As they are single channel completely independent sequencers, they can be bought as and when they are needed, they can be clock at different clock divide ratios, they can each have different step lengths. None of these features are available with multi-channel sequencers.
These sequencers have a step out socket for each step (mainly for use with adjusting sequence length. Other sequencers use switches to change length). The advantage is that the sockets need not only be used for changing sequence length, but they can be used individually to clock or trigger other devices. The 8 step outs are basically the same as a Doepfer A161 trigger sequencer module making the CV8 and GT8 exceptional value.
When used with our master clock module MC01 , all sequencers can be reset globally from the Master Clock and they will be reset to THE LAST STEP. With just about all other sequencers, especially when using MIDI as the master clock, the sequencer must manually be stepped to the last step, otherwise when the clock is started, step 2 is in fact the first step triggered. Our automatically go to the last step eliminating this problem (see note in MC01 section for more explanation)."

Every sound is made with the Nord Modular G2, the Machinedrum UW is only playing samples from it.
