Inject the sound of the Roland SH-5’s revered filter section into your modular rig with the SYSTEM-500 555 module. The Roland SH-5 is one of the most sought after monosynths in history with one of the most distinguished filters of any monosynth in history. The 512 Dual VCO (voltage controlled oscillator) is a single module consisting of two voltage controlled oscillators. Each independent VCO produces frequencies across a wide range with 1V/octave tracking and dedicated pulse, triangle, and saw wave outputs. Variable pulse width is available via panel control or CV modulation. Each oscillator’s frequency can also be synchronized to the other in weak or strong modes to achieve a unique 'sync' sound."

Bringing the Lush 70's sound of Multiband Resonators to the System 100m
Introducing the new updated M175 Triple Resonator from RYK Modular.
Consisting of three resonant Band Pass Filters arranged in parallel, the M175 is great for adding some shape and character to a sound.
Use the triple peaks to add acoustic style resonant spikes, or modulate them to create dramatic phaser style swooshes and sweeps.
Or carefully tune the centre frequencies to create formant style vocal noises from waveforms with high harmonic content such as pulse waves.
The M175 contains three dual Vactrols to control the centre frequency of each resonator, which add a small amount of slew to the frequency modulation, famously associated with classic Buchla modules.
FEATURES
Three Vactrol controlled Band Pass Filters arranged in normalised parallel, or can be used as three separate filters.
Audio input signal is normalised to all three resonators, but can be overridden by inserting a jack into the resonators 1st inputs allow them to be used separately.
A mix output is available that sums the output of all three resonators, by inserting a jack into a resonators individual output overrides its output from the mix output.
Keyboard CV is supplied via the standard System 100m DIN connector, to the 1st modulation input of each resonator.
The 2nd input of the first resonator is normalised to each of the other two resonators

"The Roland 121 is a dual filter module design to be incorporated with Roland's contribution to professional analog modular synthesis, The System 100m. This unit consists of two VCF's, each VCF includes the added feature of a built-in foxed high pass filter with a switch for turning the high pass function off or selecting one of three cutoff points. Each VCF also includes three audio and three control inputs, and LED's for following signal flow. The green LED's light when a signal appears at the outputs, the red LED's light for overdrive (distort) condition."
"Here we have Roland's System 100m, their classic compact yet super powerful analog modular system. This set of modules is the most popular configuration that was available (known as the D-set) and includes the 150 Sample & Hold / LFO / Ring Mod, 112 Dual VCO, 121 Dual VCF, 130 Dual VCA, and 140 Dual Envelope / LFO. Of course these modules are not simply limited to their listed functions and include several convenient 'extras' such as 3 channel mixers built in for audio and CV inputs and well thought out duplicates and attenuated options for certain outputs.
The conveniences don't end there, the included keyboard connects straight to the front of the 191J enclosure and is normalled to relevant connections around the system. Simply bring up the first CV input attenuator on either oscillator and switch the envelopes to gate input for quick direct control without having to patch. The base of the 191J includes several multiples, 1/4" to 1/8" jack converters, and an output converter for splitting connections and interfacing with other equipment during patching.
The compact yet all encompassing design of this system makes for a welcoming, approachable instrument that only requires simple patching to make some truly great and classic sounds! But of course, its a modular system - patches can quickly gain complexity and there's plenty of room for deep exploration even with these five standard modules.
As with any vintage Roland, the System 100m has an incredibly nice sound, rich and powerful yet very clean and musical. It is especially strong with sequenced basses and gliding subtractive leads but has incredibly deep audio rate modulation and liquidy filters that certainly give it a natural home in more experimental music as well!
This System 100m set was just fully serviced and cleaned by our in house electronics technician. It has been fully tested and is working wonderfully with no crackly pots or switches and solid patch connections on all jacks. There is a proprietary keyboard connection cable and five power cables included to power each module at the rear. Finally, this sale includes the original 181 49 note keyboard with built in portamento, transposition, and bender. This is a great classic modular setup for anyone looking to get the full 1980s Roland experience!"

The ultimate modular synthesizer. Originally conceived by Dr Robert A. Moog in the mid sixties as a less bulky, more affordable alternative to the famous experimental RCA Mark 2 (which filled several rooms), it became the instrument that made synthesized music popular, especially thanks to Walter Carlos' album "Switched On Bach", a massive hit in 1968. Other artists, like Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Emerson, Lake & Palmer also explored the possibilities of the Moog in mainstream music and even used it for live performances. But the modular systems were generally too complex and expensive for most musicians, designed as they were for studio composition of electronic music, and Moog went on to produce more performance oriented instruments such as the brilliant Minimoog.

"The System 100m is Roland's contribution to professional analog modular synthesis. It was based on the more limited, semi-modular System 100, but is several steps of ahead of its predecessor. The System 100m offers over 20 modular components to pick and choose to design a custom modular set-up. The Main unit is the M-110 which has a single VCO oscillator, VCF, and VCA section. You can then build upon this system adding any number and configurations of the various other modules which include dual VCOs, ring modulators, dual VCFs, eq, dual VCAs, dual envelopes, LFOs, various effects, mixers, sequencers, and control interfaces including 3 different keyboard controllers.
Modules are assembled into racks. The System 100m has 3 rack sizes, the M-190 holds 3 modules, the M-191 and M-191J hold 5 modules. Each rack provides the necessary 8-pin DIN power connectors and internal CV/gate connections between the modules. You still need to do some external patching, however, to send your signal through the modules of your choice to create any sounds. As for sounds, the System is basically monophonic, unless you get several racks of them for lots and lots of money! Its sound is not as warm as the System 100 before it, but it offers much more capability"

"1981 Roland Studio System-100M Modular Synthesizer and Model 181 keyboard controller in exceptional condition and in perfect working order. Stunningly well-kept and complete with numerous patch cables as well as the original shipping box for the keyboard controller, this vintage analog synth is complete and freshly serviced.
First released in 1978, the System 100M was Roland’s scaled-down follow-up to the iconic System 700, their first truly modular unit. It was released in tandem with 13 individual rack modules available for integration into the system. This particular System 100M features the 191-J 5-module case rack. While the 181 keyboard and 191-J case are not not from the same original unit, they were (according to serial numbers) produced in short proximity to each other.
