Acidlab Miami Sequencer Demos

via MaD

"Acidlab Miami made with the internal sequencer of the machine. The second mp3 is a bit "on the limit" sometimes, but it shows very good the tap-in mode and the different shuffle modes of the Miami. I include also a new outline of the overprint from the Miami. This is maybe not the final version." mp3s here along with the prior demo from this post. Acidlab MIAMI Listening Test

YouTube Published on Jul 8, 2012 by AudioCentralMagazine

"a quick (and probably boring) listening test of Acidlab.de MIAMI - analog clone of T-808"

Update:

fun with Acidlab MIAMI & heavy distortion

Published on Jul 8, 2012 by AudioCentralMagazine

"Nothing more than fiddling with a heavy & nasty distortion unit on the delicious Acidlab.de MIAMI 808 clone. I am very flabbergasted of interaction between kick decay and (heavy) distortion. In my memories, this reminds me some very very great album of Pankow - an italian electronic duo that i liked a lot. Hats off to Pankow (and Acidlab, obviously)."

Acidlab MIAMI vs Roland TR808

YouTube Published on Jul 8, 2012 by AudioCentralMagazine

"A/B comparison between Acidlab.de MIAMI and vintage Roland TR808; in some case, on some instruments, the TR's oscillators seems to be tuned on a lowest value. It is VERY likely that, in a vintage instrument like the 808 at our disposal, tuning has changed with age. B.t.w., MIAMI is a great, expressive, electronic instrument."

Acidlab Miami & TR808 rude comparison

Published on Jul 8, 2012 by AudioCentralMagazine

"same pattern, same (ehr, more or less...) internal mixer: differences in global audio feeling due to lowest tuning in the vintage 808. Think so."

"For sale here is an Acidlab Miami. I love this drum machine. I've used this on a bunch of tracks. I've owned more than a few Roland TR808 and after getting the Acidlab I sold my 808, that's how good this Miami is. It sounds even better in some ways, plus you get modern functionality like midi and advanced programming capabilities. Really great machine for the value. It's in excellent shape, fully functional. Check out the pictures below. Includes Acidlab, power supply and manual."

Intellijel SHIFTY & jellysquasher dub

Published on Mar 24, 2017 intellijel

"First taste of the Intellijel Shifty voice allocator / note hocketing module.
Metropolis sequence is being processed by Shifty to generate three voice controls. Voice #1 is an Atlantis through Springray, Voice #2 and 3 are Shapeshifters via Polaris filters. Background drums from Acidlab Miami. Everything running through the Intellijel Cylonix Rainmaker. Just a quick taste of making some interesting melodic stuff that is pseudo polyphonic."

intellijel jellysquasher dub

Published on Mar 24, 2017 intellijel

"A little jam using the Acidlab Miami (TR-808 clone) being processed Springray reverb and then jellysquasher compressor module. Kick drum from Miami is split so that it is mixed in dry and also used to side chain. The chords come from Shapeshifter being processed by polaris, rainmaker, springray and then the jellysquasher too. Bass line is from the Atlantis being sequenced by Metropolis and slaved to the Miami accent out."

Really great machine for the value. This one was a spare back-up machine & hardly ever used. It's in MINT perfect shape & fully functional. Check out the pictures below. Includes power supply for 110v operation. If you can't afford a real 808 or want to deal with hassle of vintage gear, this is the next best thing. Don't miss out!.."

KOMA Pedals and Acidlab MIAMI - Effects on Beats

Published on Oct 1, 2014 KOMA Elektronik

"In this video we run the signal of the Master Out of the Acidlab MIAMI into the KOMA Elektronik BD101 and FT201 pedals. The KOMA Elektronik RH301 functions as the masterclock, sending the start/stop date and tempo to the MIAMI via DIN-Sync.

The tempo-synced Envelope CV Out of the RH301 controls the feedback of the BD101 via the Cycle CV In. The Inverted Envelope Out controls the cutoff frequency of the FT201 via the Cutoff CV In. The LFO CV Out of the RH301 controls the Delay Time CV In of the BD101, while one of the Analog Clock Outs of the RH301 syncs up the internal sequencer of the FT201.

KOMA Pedals and Acidlab MIAMI - Techno Beats

Published on Sep 30, 2014 KOMA Elektronik

"Techno time! In this video the single High Tom output of the Acidlab Miami is being processed by the KOMA Elektronik BD101 Gate/Delay and FT201 Filter/Sequencer effect pedals creating a groovy techno bass line. Other drum sounds went clean into a mixing desk.

Both pedals are being modulated by the tempo synced Envelope and LFO CV Outs of the KOMA Elektronik RH301, which is also the master clock of the whole setup, syncing up the MIAMI over DIN-Sync and the internal sequencer of the FT201 by analog clock.
