For immediate release: Bitley presents Omnia

Omnia is the latest incarnation of Bitley's Fairlight-based sound banks, as developed from 2010 to present date. The first release in the Omnia series is Omnia Samples. This contains all of the wave files (samples), comprising 2,3 Gigabyte of data and nearly 6,000 individual samples. Omnia Samples is released in two versions: One raw wave version, which fits all samplers and sample players that can import AIFF and / or WAV files. This covers nearly all sampler instruments since many years back. The other version is made for Reason 7. Subsequent Omnia series releases for Reason will include things from Bitley's previous Fairlight II+, XXL and Platinum refills alongside with completely new patches as well as fixes and updates, new naming conventions and more focused categories. Fairlight Platinum will remain as the largest Bitley refill with its 3,600 instrument patches. There is also a Fairlight-based Kontakt library available which recently was updated (July 2013).

Bitley is a swedish maker of sound banks, programming hardware synthesizers as well as making software releases. The company started out in 2010 by releasing the sound banks Orlando JX10 and Fairlight CMI Legacy. Bitley's usage of the Fairlight samples is an agreement with Fairlight and Peter Vogel in Australia. Newer refills include The Prophet, O8, Flux, Poly Ensemble and more.

Was it a ghost passing?

Published on Aug 20, 2015 bitleyTM

"As I was jamming loosely around Stanley Myers' Cavatina (from The Deer Hunter), a mysterious shadow suddenly passed the camera lens. You can see it at about 2.44. I was all alone in my home, which is a rebuilt community center for elderly. But that's good, now the ghosts too know about Roland's new synthesizer, the JD-XA."

Roland JD-XA inspiration II

Published on Mar 25, 2019 bitleyTM

Note the video does not match the audio. Per below it was re-used from another. What you are hearing though is the JD-XA.

"The JD-XA is a wonderful synthesizer. I was allowed to borrow it from Roland in Sweden for a while but I truly want one.

Musical passage improvised around Stanley Myers' Cavatina, a piece of music I grew up with as my father often played it on classical guitar. My dad studied guitar for the late John W. Duarte in London.

Apologizes for the video material: the camera shoot from this recording hasn't been recovered so for now video material from the first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I3vgu... video has been recycled.

Hopefully though you were already closing your eyes, or did you keep them wide shut? ;)"

Fairlight CMI Legacy & Supremacy from bitley [dot] laconicsounds [dot] net

YouTube via bitleyTM — April 28, 2010 — "Updated Fairlight CMI library demo with links to the new web site & additional information AND a bit of new audio. There is now also a free demo refill so you can check it all out before ordering.

This library consists of the entire Fairlight IIx library (with kind permission from Fairlight in Australia) as well as a plethora of other synthesizers and drum machines from the 80s.

Without doubt Fairlight CMI Legacy & Supremacy forms one of the world's most interesting refill (sound bank) collections for Propellerhead Reason / Record."

Cierra | Don't Cry | Fairlight Platinum ReFill

YouTube Published on May 7, 2012 by bitleyTM

"Sneak preview! Michael Moog has produced a brand new track for the 17 year old TMG Recording artist Cierra Ramirez exclusively using the Bitley™ Fairlight Platinum ReFill for Reason 6. He contacted us about it and gave us exclusive rights to publish a sneak preview of the video in order to be able to spread the word on the refill, which he adores. This video is not listed publicly on YouTube.

Cierra Ramirez will be starring in the Lionsgate feature movie (motion picture) Girl In Progress with Eva Mendez going up on cinemas May 11, 2012. The track (and this video) will be official sometime after this.

The track is a response to Echoes Of Silence by The Weekend.
Michael Moog will possibly be providing a RPS version of the track which will be provided to all Fairlight Platinum license owners. Michael Moog is also currently producing the 90s pop act No Mercy and the Fairlight Platinum ReFill is being used there as well.

Directed by: Michael Moog. Director of Photography: Eric Roundtree. Lightning / Grip: Calvin Gaines. Edited by Eric Roundtree, Siji and Timmy Temper. Published by Temper Music Group. Song copyrighted by The Weekend, 2012. Preview published by Bitley with exclusive, written permission.

The Fairlight library for Reason

YouTube via bitleyTM — March 18, 2010 —

"Five months in the making, my new Refill "Fairlight CMI Legacy" is now available from PowerFX.com. All music examples and sound programming by Patrick Fridh Aka Bitley™."

Fairlight CMI Legacy playing a track

"A little track made with my new refill, available from www.powerfx.com." via Failed Muso Update via BITLEY™ in the comments: "Thanks for picking this one up & noticing, spreading the word! :) The refill is now officially approved & positively seen by Fairlight.au and Fairlight Instruments, which feels great. A little bit like when Roland "OK'd" Propellerhead back in the ReBirth day, as a user pointed out. I've set up a little web page with new updates and so forth. This is probably the first commercial refill in the world that gets free updates. Since its release two weeks ago, I have updated it twice, increasing the number of patches from about 300 to nearly 600. The update refill, called Supremacy, also acts as a demo bank for anyone wanting to try it out. More info on PowerFX of course but also here; http://bitley.laconicsounds.net/
Thanks again!!!

Best,
Patrick"
