"This thing is about as old as me..1985 Vintage Roland drum machine and pretty much the sound of early Chicago house music...this was the machine that made many great artists and classic songs..Just check out Armado's Land Of Confusion if you want to hear some raw 707 and 303, this was also Larry Heard also known as Mr Fingers' drum machine..
Took this last year round x-mass when I was using it a lot...need to sell it now as I hardly use it and need some other bits..also I might sell my Roland JX-3P too"

"This is the result of playing round with the Waldorf Attack drum synth...I then processed the drums with the D-Pole Waldorf filter where needed then recorded loops into the MPC, I then pitched the loops to max in the MPC and sampled them from the MPC into the Akai S-3200XL overdriving the inputs slightly, slowed down the loops in the 3200XL.
For the pads and synth textures I sampled the Blofeld into the 3200XL and choped it up a bit and added some aditional filtering from the 3200.
Bass comes from the Juno
Strings come from the Blofeld
Other drums and 808 from the MPC

Live jam as per usual, not even sure if I even like this tune any more"

YouTube via vinyljunkie07 — June 08, 2010 — "My second fave synth (first is the DX-100) and my second synth I got back around 2002/03 (can't remember exactly) and I just HAD to have one again and couldn't turn down this minty one for a great cheapo price.
It's a single voice REAL analogue filthy lo-fi mo'fo The Rack version is slightly better as it has more memories, CV/Gate converter and SYNC capabilities but this is a shit load more fun to play...oh yea did I mention it's dirt cheap!
Any one who moans about not being able to afford a puncy analogue synth needs to open their eyes...fair enough if you don't like it's sound but for about 100-150 GBP you honestly can't go wrong...just don't expect a moog lol
I still need to get a DX-100 as my other one couldn't be repaired :-("
