  3. If I recall correctly (from my old Keyboard mags), Mark's brother Jim (an occasional Devo sit-in) was a tech for Roland back in the early 1980s and had built/modified a lot of their gear up to the Fairlight era, so perhaps he's got some assistance right in the family.

  4. Devo is still touring

but yeh, hed probably use it to compose some cartoon soundtrack

the machine was designed to compose music on its own, algorithimically - operated by the various buttons and so on

I knew Jim was a Roland tech - (and im sure thats why the later albums were so roland gear heavy)

i assumed it might have been him who put together their custom 6 osc minimoog (although it was probably done in the factory by moog techs)

but Raymond Scott was like a Dr. Frankenstien type guy... kinda like Mr. Theremin... you would have to start from scratch and reverse engineer a work of mad genius

  5. It's not big enough. Synthesizers will be respected more if they are larger. Larger and longer too.

If anyone suggests you're compensating for something, just hit them with a blast of the brown noise and give them a coupon for dry cleaning.

Here's a great idea: Wouldn't it be great to have the JACK right in the MIDDLE of the KNOB? I am patenting that BTW.
