A/DA Harmony Synthesizer w/ Expression Pedal

"Here is what happens when you plug an expression pedal into the Control Pedal input"

  1. I love A/DA generally but sonically that thing is just regrettable, even for 1979. Eventide had already long since cornered that market and even MXR had the Pitch Transposer which came out right around that time but, in contrast to this pedal, was actually usable. Not hard to grasp why it never caught on. Using bucket-brigade circuitry to do pitch shift may have been a novel idea, but unless you're after intentionally terrible sound, it's not the way to go. For some real A/DA goodness, try a Final Phase or their classic Flanger.
