Be lovely to hear it in action. Hard to tell from here if I want to spend $4,000.00 on something when I can't tell what it does or how it sounds...
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine that thing is really worth $4000 the receipt says it was only $420 new :\
ReplyDeletecorrection, $375
ReplyDeleteThese come up for sale every once in a while, and usually fetch $800-1000
ReplyDelete4K....nope!
Youtube post coming soon! As far as the $4k tag: Asking price is based upon rarity of the piece complete with never-before-seen documentation. This is one of the earliest models and they were in very short supply at the time (early 79). According to the original owner I bought this from, Todd Rundgren called this music store in '79 to try to buy it. Original owner was the owner of the music store and he said "Nah" to Todd.
