"My goodbye to Troy, NY. I wanted to try a few different things with this piece, most noticeably the strong tonal and rhythmic aspects. I also wanted to get away from the 'synth hands' video style, which was greatly helped by the editing finesse of my good friend Monsieur Plague. The deep bass is very important in this piece, please listen on good speakers or headphones if possible.

For the synth nerds: Flame Clockwork drives a Pittsburgh Timetable and Intellijel uStep for the rhythmic aspects. Voices are a SynthTech Cloud Generator, TipTop Z3000, and Livewire AFG, with quantization from a Intellijel uScale.

"I will be playing at Café Fixe (1642 Beacon Street (Washington Square on the C Line)) on April 13th as part of Nonevent's Experimental Coffee House concert series. This series has been on my must-see concert list since it started last summer, and I'm incredibly excited to be a part of it. The format is basically perfect: one set at 8:00 and over around 9:00, and you get home early enough that you're not sleepwalking through work the next day."
