Fat Bastard's Tellun ' Neural Agonizer'

via Beermaster

"Thought I'd send you a couple of shots of the Tellun ' Neural Agonizer' that I've had made by Todd Fletcher - Check out the size of these reverb pans ! ! This is one of the latest additions to Fat Bastard - previously added a Tellun 'Doomsday Machine' too.

( Fat Bastard got a nice mention and pic in the new SOS Modular feature too )"

See these posts for more by beermaster including some shots of Fat Bastard. Note Fat Bastard is beermaster's uber modular and not an alias for someone. The modular has a bit of everything and is, um, FAT. If you haven't seen it, check it out.

'Fat Bastard'

Title link takes you to a couple more shots sent my way via Rt.Hon.Beermaster.

"Thought I'd send you a couple pics - I'm finally getting my modular dream to come true and getting 'Fat Bastard' built. The first stage has been clearing out the room so new electrics can be added and new carpets etc - the result was that some of my gear had to be moved to the spare bedroom - the pics attached are small part of the modules that will be 'Fat Bastard' - A duvet of modules ! ha ha"

An interesting side note is my first flickr set ever was a set of pics sent in via Beermaster. You can see that set here which was posted on Matrixsynth back on Aug 3, 2005. You can see all my sets since then here.

Stairway To Heaven

Serge via Lester Barnes aka Beermaster.

BTW, a little bit of Matrixsynth history/trivia. When I first started this blog, Beermaster was one of the first visitors. He sent me a bunch of images that I ended up putting up on flickr. This set was the first flickr set I ever put up, even before my Matrixsynth set. You can see the post with a link to the set here.

Roland MC-4

via this auction, via beermaster.

"The Classic Roland Digital Sequencer designed to work with CV and Gate signals from Analogue synths and Modular systems. This provides four independent channels of Gate, 2x CV and MPX (outputs for each channel) with the tightest timing around. This comes with a copy of the original owners manual and runs on 240V. It works perfectly and is in great shape but missing one of the toggle switches for the 'Sync' function - this doesn't affect the use of these functions as its easy to operate the switch with a pen or a screwdriver."

BTW, check out Matrixsynth-b for a Sequential Circuits Prophet 10 Manual + Warranty cards from beermaster as well.

I wonder if this qualifies for the carpool lane.

Roland 184 Polyphonic CV Keyboard

images via this auction, via beermaster.
"One of the few Polyphonic Keyboard controllers for CV and Gate gear. Idea for use with large sys 100m modulars or any other Modular synth. Provides four independent CV and Gate outs and a variety of play modes selectable from the control pannel including 2 unison and 2 poly modes. It also includes an arpeggiator and Portamento function together with a pitch bender. Ouputs for the CV and Gates are large and small jacks and this keyboard needs to be powered from 110V."

FAT BASTARD

A few drool worthy pics in via Lester Barnes in response to Bernie's Wahalla Monster Modular. If you have access to his Facebook photo album, currently you will find 21 glorious pics of what could only be called FAT BASTARD. Is there any system bigger? Bigger than TONTO, and bigger than the system in Hans Zimmer's studio?

Anyway, I think Beer has Bernie beat. :) Put some clothes on man!

BTW, Beermaster's Fat Bastard gets credit for me setting up my Flickr account back in 2005! Here's the first set. The bottom pic of the Polyfusion in this post is from that set. I tried to check the exact date I uploaded the pic to see if it matched the date of the original post, but I'm not seeing it. But I did see this: "This photo was taken on August 19, 2002 using a Pentax Optio 330." Flickr must pull the info from the digital meta data in the pic, because I didn't add that. :)

Again, I think I need an everything label. Some random ones picked...
