CasioCZ3000+TR-707+GTG 44S by BenAnderson88

YouTube via benanderson88. What's GTG?
"A retrosound72 inspired song... kinda obviouse isn't it? XD
Drums: TR-707 (sampled)
Bass: GTG 44S synced to MIDI tempo
Pad: Casio CZ3000
CZ3000 also doubled as a midi keyboard for the GTG44S (using it's split keyboard feature and keyboard area selection in FLStudio8)
Hand played live, no software sequencer used except for drums and to sync the bass arpeggio.

Thanks for looking :)
~BenA."

The classic Supersaw - MULAB with MuSynth and MUX

YouTube via benanderson88. http://mutools.com/
"This quick video shows you how I made a supersaw in MULAB using only the pre-packaged MUX and MuSynth units. Who needs 3rd party VST when you have power like this out of the box?

I apologise in advance for I have a natural stutter."

Enjoy.

Sketchup Speedrum - Audiobits 8-Tron

YouTube via benanderson88
"A speedrun of the 8-Tron drum machine VST in sketchup. As the original VST is 2D I had to use my imagination to render it into a 3D object.

Enjoy the video!

House with the Juno-106 and CZ3000

YouTube via benanderson88
"My new house song titled "purple haze" using the Roland Juno-106 and the CasioCZ3000 synthesizers. This is a live-mix, no overdubbing.
Enjoy.

Note one of the sampled drums is the Sakata DPM-48. Anyone know what that is?
Found it in the archives: link. Note they appear to have manufactured the Oberheim Matrix-6 and Xpander in Japan.

Last day with the Juno6

YouTube via benanderson88
"I sold my Juno6 on eBay, I'll be sad to see it go as it was my first hardware synthesizer. But hey! At least I have the funds to buy a 106 now :D"

Ambiance & Strings - Casio CZ

YouTube via benanderson88
"A selection of Ambient and String patches I've programmed for my Casio CZ3000 synthesizer. These are some of the best sounding patches I have ever made taking many hours to develop. With sounds like this the CZ line of synthesizers has become my all time favourite.

If you're thinking of buying a CZ then hopefully this video will convince you to part with your money. The CZs are insanely versatile and insanely powerful! Almost like a hybrid of the Yamaha DX7 and SCI Prophet5.

Enjoy!

~BenAnderson

No external effects were used, the internal chorus unit is set to full.

P.S. I do not give out patches. Learn to do it yourself like I did, you'll be better for it. I know I am! :)"

My Google Sketchup7 Models

YouTube via benanderson88
"Some more google sketch-up models. I haven't made a video about any of my new models (or any models for that matter) in a while so I thought I'd throw one together quickly.

All models (c) Ben Anderson 2009"

Note the Tronix keyboard in the beginning. Tronix actually exists, you can see the only other post by clicking on the label below. Anyone know if they actually made a keyboard?

Analogue Bass how to - Casio CZ

YouTube via benanderson88
"Re uploaded the video... seeing as the first one had alot of empty space where nothing happened.

This is a video showing how a Casio CZ can have a similar sound to a vintage Roland Juno Bass-line as well as being a simple "how to" for programming it."

House with the Juno-106 and CZ3000

Roland SH-201 Supersaw Sounds

YouTube via benanderson88 | January 01, 2011 |

"Two sounds made with an SH-201 synthesizer I got yesterday from a chap on eBay.
The first is a Trance lead. OSC1 carries a Supersaw waveform, OSC2 carries a Saw waveform one octave below.
The second sound is Filter Sweep Strings. OSC1 carries a Supersaw waveform, OSC2 uses a Noise waveform to give it that little extra 'hiss' in its sound.

This is pretty much all I'll be using the SH-201 for, that and some feedback oscillators sounds if I feel the need. My other synths better it in almost every possible way - Its hard to compete with Vintage Analogue and 80s Digital. ;-)"

VOPM+FLStudio - Japanese Master System BIOS

YouTube via benanderson88
"Japanese Master System BIOS using VOPM in FLStudio8. This song is hardware accurate, although I couldn't get the instruments to sound exactly like the real thing. Its close enough."
