the signal ( a vocal sample ) is divided in 3 band and every band is processed seperately. the fx goes from subtle athmosphere to weird rooms and pitch shifted
echoes.

here a vocal sample ( a voice reading baudelaire poem ) is run through the
vst effect and several parameters were changed. thus the fx changes from sublte chorus-like to weird granular clouds and back to slightly pitched delays."

If you are tired of all DAWs looking like excel sheets then you should try this program. It is a modular sequencer ( a bit like Energy XT or Pure Data / MaxMSP ) and has some good options for building interfaces for touchscreen use.

The free version shown here can do a lot, especially when you are using
a touchscreen like me here.

to the patch : some stepsequencers driving the rhythms metal vsti
for drum sounds and some stepped note sequencer driving the
HYDRA vsti from Synapse Audio.

a little randomizing of vst parameters and some FX and there you go.

"Here some sounds i created on the TECHNICS WSA synthesizer. As the WSA uses a simplified version of physical modelling, the sounds are very acoustic in character and always have some "alice in wonderland" feel to it.

The WSA is good for virtual percussive, stringed and or blown instruments. It also has some good sounding filters and fx unit."

When activated the pattern morphs every 4 bars. Morphing means that 1 step randomly
selected changes the drum trigger, thus triggering different or none samples at this step.
