"Nothing more than fiddling with a heavy & nasty distortion unit on the delicious Acidlab.de MIAMI 808 clone. I am very flabbergasted of interaction between kick decay and (heavy) distortion. In my memories, this reminds me some very very great album of Pankow - an italian electronic duo that i liked a lot. Hats off to Pankow (and Acidlab, obviously)."

Acidlab Miami Sequencer Demos

"Acidlab Miami made with the internal sequencer of the machine. The second mp3 is a bit "on the limit" sometimes, but it shows very good the tap-in mode and the different shuffle modes of the Miami. I include also a new outline of the overprint from the Miami. This is maybe not the final version." mp3s here along with the prior demo from this post. If you wonder why "VCF-Mod" produce results when no cable is pluged in, it's a genius combination of the VCO and the envelope behind it. ;)
-M303 is working on Autobot's Systembus, even ACCENT will be transmitted. The module is working with Doefer's systembus, too.

Used Stuff: Acidlab M303, Autobot & Miami. External control by Doepfer A-119 (to feed MIAMI into M303's Filter Input), A-143-3 Quad LFO (for Modulation), Blue Lantern 6HP Joystick (another mod-source) & Intellijel Triatt (to invert CVs). System is powered by Acidlab's POW and housed in a Acidlab 6U Rack."

It is VERY likely that, in a vintage instrument like the 808 at our disposal, tuning has changed with age. B.t.w., MIAMI is a great, expressive, electronic instrument."

"First taste of the Intellijel Shifty voice allocator / note hocketing module.
Metropolis sequence is being processed by Shifty to generate three voice controls. Voice #1 is an Atlantis through Springray, Voice #2 and 3 are Shapeshifters via Polaris filters. Background drums from Acidlab Miami. Everything running through the Intellijel Cylonix Rainmaker. Just a quick taste of making some interesting melodic stuff that is pseudo polyphonic."

"A little jam using the Acidlab Miami (TR-808 clone) being processed Springray reverb and then jellysquasher compressor module. Kick drum from Miami is split so that it is mixed in dry and also used to side chain. The chords come from Shapeshifter being processed by polaris, rainmaker, springray and then the jellysquasher too. Bass line is from the Atlantis being sequenced by Metropolis and slaved to the Miami accent out."
