Novation Supernova 2 Synthesizer in Hi-Fi

"These are patches I programmed myself, with the exception of the "Oh of Pleasure" arp which is a preset. All are played in single program mode w/ only the SN2's on-board effects, recorded direct with no EQ or compression into Sonar. The audio is then converted to mono for YouTube streaming. I figured most people would like to see and hear how well the SN2 emulates the synths it was designed to sound like : Jupiter & Juno, OB-Xa, MKS-80&70, Synthex etc Please do excuse the occasional bum note as I barrel my way through bits of Van Halen's "Jump", Tangerine Dream's "Beach Theme", Ray Lynch's "The Oh of Pleasure" and assorted improvisations. Apologies are in order for the writers and performers of said music; please forgive this crude satire.

"Moog little phatty analog synthesizer being voltage-controlled by a Moogerfooger CP-251 voltage processor. This turns the already powerful LP into a semi-modular workhorse. Still less modulation power than a stock Voyager - but easily on par with a modded Odyssey or CS-15. I still need to add the Moogerfooger ring modulator.
The CP-251 is a collection of classic Moog Modular circuits that perform a number of CV functions such as : LFO (square & triangle), Sample & Hold, Noise, Attenuators (x2), 4-input mixer, 4-way multiple, squarewave trigger out & a Lag processor. It's a great value and yet many people (including LP owners) are confused by just what this thing is for. Here's a little taste.
Recorded direct into 1820m interface and post-processed w/ some Sonitus reverb

modcan 3vco is the sound-source, malekko/wiard Anti-Oscillator is the main modulator for the delta filter, QuadLFO is modulating the Anti, going into delta filter(& it's vca), then modcan DDL"

"1st time I get to play w/ the 2600.
I believe it's a 1972 or 73 model and the filter sure sounds like the Moog patent violator.
This is through the onboard speakers, so some of the higher frequencies are not present. Through the onboard spring reverb.

I recently had recapped and modified my early 70's Tonus-logo ARP 2600 synthesizer. Everything works great now, plus my tech added extended FM and keyboard/LFO functions - even better than new! You can achieve these sounds using a stock 2600 as well, but mine has a few paths re-routed for convenience, also a rebuilt key-assembly, filter and PSU, an extra LFO etc."
